Lighthouse at Fiskardo

These are the old lighthouse buildings at the end of the bay of Fiskardo. We had a little walk out to here from the village, to explore.

Fiskardo is a gorgeous village, with old houses and narrow streets and paths. It is a long distance from anywhere else on the island, so our recommendation is to travel here by boat and make a day of it. It would be a beautiful place to stay on Kefalonia, as long as you didn't want to go exploring the rest of the island too much. Unless you have your own yacht of course...
