Kefalonia, Greece: Agios Nikolaos
 We put this shot in just to show you how spectacular inland Kefalonia is. We were amazed by the sheer size of the place - it takes some driving around, I can tell you! The mountains are enormous and the whole place is so green! Well worth a day's car rental.One word of caution: don't entirely trust the map from the car rental company - it wasn't great, but the one we then bought was much, much worse! The scale was obviously not a consideration when these maps were made. Many roads and villages do not exist at all on the map - which can be confusing if you are there! MORE... |
