Inside the bar at Argostoli Waterwheel
This waterwheel and bar/restaurant are at Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia and its main port. The town is not particularly pretty. Most of the most museums, churches and shops are along the waterfront at Lithostrotu and Plateia Vallinaou. However, this place is a great find - a sophisticated cafe and restaurant with a disused waterwheel alongside. Check out the toilets: they are seriously over-designed. It is a lovely place for a quiet drink or meal with great views and a very smart area to sit out. Very upmarket.
